The Pak Global Pakistan — A 21-year-old man from North Carolina was shot and killed by United States Secret Service agents and local police after he drove into the secure perimeter of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. The incident occurred early Sunday morning around 1:30 AM local time.
Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi reported that the man, identified as Austin Tucker Martin, was armed with a shotgun and carried a gas can at the time of the confrontation. Authorities also found a box for the shotgun inside his vehicle. Martin had been recently reported missing by his family.
Former President Trump was in Washington, DC, at the time, and no other protected individuals were present at Mar-a-Lago during the incident. The motive behind the man’s actions remains under investigation.
