Iranian Government Attributes Protest Deaths to Terrorists Amid Rising Tensions

The Pak Global Pakistan:

The Iranian government has once again attributed the deaths of thousands during last month’s nationwide protests to terrorist activities. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi revealed that a list of 3,117 individuals, including approximately 200 security personnel, has been classified as “victims of recent terrorist operations.” He urged anyone disputing this data to provide evidence, emphasizing that 690 on the list were identified as terrorists allegedly armed and supported by the US and Israel.

This statement follows remarks by US President Donald Trump, who claimed that 32,000 people were killed in the protests and highlighted the severe challenges faced by the Iranian population under the current regime. Meanwhile, Araghchi has been engaging with US media to push for a fair agreement regarding Iran’s nuclear program.

Amid escalating regional uncertainties, Serbia has recently advised all its citizens to leave Iran immediately, reflecting growing concerns over potential conflict.
